Let me set the scene for you...
You're driving down a country road, windows down and the music up because naturally it's a gorgeous day. All the sudden, you come across some orchards and a quaint indoor/outdoor market. You stop, obviously.
Nestled in the backwoods of Nancy KY sits Haney's Appledale Farm. There are few places that compare to the history of this one. Haney's dates back to the late 1800s and has had the same family running it for 5 generations. Crazy right? These places still exist and boy are we glad they do.
You can find dozens of kinds of apples as well as some peaches and nectarines if you hit the season just right. Along with being able to hand pick fresh fruit, you are able to shop in their market for jams, salsas, butters, ciders, shirts, crafts and more! Lest we forget, the PIE shop. Yes people, pie. And slushies. APPLE CIDER SLUSHIES. Omg I can't. I have to go today after writing this.
From a roadside stand to a staple of the Lake Cumberland Region, Haney's is not only good for amazing fresh produce, but it also sets the scene for some amazing photo shoots. We were happy to be on scene to photo and intro our latest in the Roam series, Georgia.
Who doesn't love a country market, fresh locally sourced produce and a gorgeous gal rockin a Georgia shirt? No one.
